Nutty Hemp & Banana Pancakes

Turn that pancake mix into a decadent, protein and antioxidant packed meal!  This pancake is loaded with healthy fats, fiber and exceptional proteins.

FlapJacked Nutty Hemp and Banana Pancakes Recipe

 

INGREDIENTS
3 TBSP hemp hearts
1 TBSP coffee grounds
4 TSP 77% cocoa dark chocolate, chopped
1 cup FlapJacked Banana Hazelnut Protein Pancake Mix
1 cup cold water
1 medium banana

INSTRUCTIONS
Combine FlapJacked Pancake mix, Hemp Hearts, Coffee Grounds and mix until combined. Add water, mix well and let sit 3-5 minutes while you turn griddle onto low heat (275 - 285 degrees). (batter will start to form bubbles and thicken.) Use a 1/4 measuring cup to pour batter into 8 pancakes. Let cook until no more bubbles are forming in the center and the edges look dry.  Flip and cook other side until golden brown.  (About 3 minutes per side).  Layer 4 pancakes with 1/2 tsp of Chocolate chips between each layer, top with sliced banana and syrup of your choice.
