Caramalized Banana Fritters

This decadent treat is the perfect sweet little bite. Add a scoop of vanilla ice cream into a bowl with a few of these fritters, and you've got the perfect crowd-pleasing dessert!

  • Place the bananas into a large bowl and use a fork to mash completely. Add in the FlapJacked mix and milk and stir well. Add in the brown sugar and stir again.
  • Place a large skillet over medium-low heat. Add in coconut oil and let melt to coat the pan. Place 1 TBSP size heaps of batter into the heated coconut oil (the batter should sizzle!) and repeat to use the rest of the batter (you should have about 24 fritters).
  • Cook for about two minutes and flip (fritter should be golden brown). Cook for another minute, until cooked all the way through. Place fritters onto a paper towel to soak up excess oil. Serve immediately. Optional: sprinkle powdered sugar on top. ENJOY!
