Cinnamon Roll Waffles

What's not to love about a warm, gooey, cinnamon roll? We felt that it was our duty to transform all that goodness into a waffle. So, we present to you Cinnamon Roll Waffles. These waffles have the same sweet, cinnamon swirls and creamy icing of your classic cinnamon roll, but are packed with protein to keep you satisfied and ready to take on the day.

Serving Size:   1 waffle




  • ¼ cup Cream Cheese, softened
  • ¼ cup Plain Greek Yogurt
  • ½ tsp Vanilla Extract
  • ¼ cup Confectioners Sugar
  • ~2 TBSP Vanilla Almond Milk (or milk of choice; use as much or as little as you want depending on how thick/thin you prefer your icing)

FlapJacked Cinnamon Roll Waffles


  • In a small bowl, whisk together the Cinnamon Swirl ingredients. Scoop mixture into a piping bag with a small round tip, or a Ziploc bag (snip a tiny corner when it's time to make the swirl).
  • In a large bowl, whisk together the Waffles ingredients. Let the batter sit for 3 minutes while you turn on your waffle iron.
  • When the iron is thoroughly heated, spray with cooking spray. Scoop a ½ cup of the batter onto the heated waffle iron and pipe a swirl with the Cinnamon Swirl mixture. Cook the waffle per manufacturer's instructions.
  • Repeat with the remaining batter until all waffles are cooked.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together the Cream Cheese Icing ingredients. Whisk until completely smooth. Drizzle icing over the waffles. Enjoy!
