Banana Chip Cake Bars

It's no secret that we love the flavors of banana bread, and that's one of the reasons that we created our Banana Hazelnut Mix! We created this recipe to combine the ideas of cake and a cookie into a portable, delicious bar.


1 egg
1 large banana, mashed
6 TBSP (softened) butter
3 TBSP brown sugar
1/2 tsp vanilla
1-1/4 cup FlapJacked Banana Hazelnut Protein Pancake Mix
1/4 cup chopped walnuts
1/4 chocolate chips

Pre-heat oven to 350˚. Place the egg, mashed banana, butter, brown sugar and vanilla into a large bowl. Use a whisk to stir well. Add in FlapJacked mix and stir to create a thick batter. Stir in walnut and chocolate chips to blend throughout the batter. Pour batter into a 9x9" baking dish (lightly coated with nonstick cooking spray) and put in the oven. Bake for 20-22 minutes, or until edges are golden brown (and batter is cooked through in the center). Remove and let cool. Cut into 16 equal slices and ENJOY!
