Jumbo Oatmeal Raisin Walnut Cookies

Nothing is more satisfying that biting into a big, chewy oatmeal raisin cookie 😋Packed with raisins and crunchy walnuts, this recipe is a great way to spice up our FlapJacked Oatmeal Protein Cookie & Baking Mix! With 6g of protein per cookie, fight off the munchies throughout the week with a batch of these (if they last that long 😉)

Oatmeal Raisin Walnut Cookies

DIRECTIONS

  • Preheat your oven to 350˚ (175°C) and line three baking sheets with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, stir together the cookie mix, oats, raisins, and walnuts.
  • Add the melted butter, maple syrup, and eggs. Fold together until the mixture is completely even.
  • Note: The longer the batter sits, the thicker the dough gets and smaller/puffier the cookies will be. If you like thin and chewy cookies, bake the dough right away. If you like thicker, fluffier cookies, let the dough sit for 15 minutes.
  • Use a cookie scoop to scoop the cookie dough onto the prepared baking sheets. Make sure there’s space in between, as these cookies spread.
  • Bake for 10 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the center is set. Let cool completely. Enjoy!
