What low-carb toppings do you put on YOUR protein pancakes?

We love pancakes by themselves, but if we were going to top them, we have listed our top 5 low-carb toppings.

Fresh Berries.
Yes, berries can be high in carbohydrates, but they pack a flavorful punch so you only need a few. 

Chopped Nuts (we like hazelnuts).
Nuts of any kind will add a wonderful crunchy richness and (depending on which nuts you use) could add some Omega-3’s!

Nut Butters.
Our favorite has to be Almond butter, but Chocolate Almond is great too (in moderation). What a great way to boost the protein!

Cinnamon & Honey.
Why not lower our LDL and enjoy the rich aroma and sweet taste of the two together! Yummy

Sugar Free or Agave.
Our most commonly requested… sugar-free syrup or Agave!  Get the same sweetness as the original high calorie maple syrup but without the carbs!
